Terms of Service
Last updated 7 August 2026.
In one paragraph. PlayIP.TV is a media player and nothing more. It comes with no channels and no content, and we do not sell, resell or supply IPTV subscriptions. You connect a service you already have a right to use, and you are responsible for that choice.
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and BRAINIAC GINGER S.R.L., a company registered in Romania at Str. Dr Sion Nr. 1-9, Bl. 15, Sc. B, Et. 3, Ap. 52, Sectorul 1, Bucharest 010159 ("we", "us"), which publishes PlayIP.TV. They govern your use of the PlayIP.TV application and the playip.tv website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
The Service is client software that plays audio and video from a third-party IPTV service you supply, and organises it — matching channels to a programme guide and to logos, syncing your favourites and history between your devices.
Specifically, the Service:
- contains no channels, films, series or playlists of its own;
- does not sell, resell, bundle or broker access to any IPTV service, and is not affiliated with any provider;
- does not host, cache, proxy, transcode, record or redistribute any stream — your device fetches video from your provider directly;
- does not index, search or supply other people's playlists or credentials;
- shows only the lineup returned by the credentials you enter.
Until you connect your own provider, the Service displays an empty library.
3. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the service you connect and for the content you access through it. By using the Service you confirm that:
- you are legally entitled to access the content you connect — for example through a subscription you have paid for, or a freely and lawfully available playlist;
- you have the right to use the credentials you enter, and they were issued to you;
- your use complies with the laws of your country and with your provider's own terms;
- you are at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age where you live;
- you will not use the Service to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights.
We have no relationship with your provider, no visibility of what it is licensed to carry, and no ability to verify your entitlement. That judgement is yours. Do not use the Service to access content you are not entitled to.
4. Accounts
An account requires a working email address and a password. Keep the password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@playip.tv if you believe it has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share credentials that are not yours, or distribute credentials via the Service;
- resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the Service or access to it;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded;
- interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or place unreasonable load on it;
- use automated means to extract data from the Service;
- use the Service unlawfully or to infringe third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and we may remove access to a source we are legally required to remove.
6. Third-party services
Your provider, and any public guide or playlist you point the Service at, are third parties operating independently of us. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their availability, their content, their accuracy, their charges or their conduct. Any dispute about a subscription is between you and that provider. If your provider stops working, changes its channels or disappears, that is outside our control.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may release updates that change how the Service works. Playback quality depends overwhelmingly on your provider and your network, neither of which we control.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its name and its design belong to us and are protected by intellectual property law. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, under these terms. Any content you view through the Service belongs to its own rights holders and none of it is licensed to you by us.
9. Copyright complaints
We do not host, store or transmit any of the content played through the Service, so there is generally nothing for us to take down. If you are a rights holder and believe the Service is being used to infringe your rights, contact support@playip.tv with details and we will review it promptly and act where it is within our power to do so.
10. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that any particular stream will play, or that the programme guide will be accurate or complete.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 50.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep the statutory rights your local law gives you, and nothing in these terms overrides them.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, from your use of the Service, or from content you access through it.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 3, 5, 8, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and for material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of Romania have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law and may bring proceedings there.
